I have hunted with a bow, a shotgun, a rifle and a handgun.. I just enjoy being in the woods and will hunt all possible seasons..
Now my favorite is archery but that's not all I do..

Bow, slug gun and muzzle loader. If rifles were legal I would own a .243 by next season. Might get one anyway;).

I would hunt bow only if it didn't mean that I would miss out on a great week of socializing with the guys at gun camp. I much prefer hunting with a bow, but a week at deer camp is an annual trip that I wouldn't miss for anything, too many great guys, dogs, stories etc. For me the gun hunt is more about camp than the hunt.

I've hunted with a rifle only once in the last 4 seasons and that was only because my dad gave me his deer rifle. Just thought it would be cool to kill one w/ the old man's gun, and it was.

Bow first , then if I don't connect during 1st bow season I'll go to In-Line, Flintlock(a blast to hunt with) and back to bow for the second season.

Growing up in Wis., There have always been two seasons for me. Archery and Gun. I hunt both because archery is always closed during gun. I still want to be out there hunting deer. Besides, Gun hunting is a tradition for me. It is a time where family and friends are in much closer contact, where archery for me is mostly just me. Bow and Gun for me.

I haven't used a gun since I was twentyone , bowhunting is more challenging and reqiures more skill.
The compound bow is the only weapon I use to hunt deer , bear , turkey and anything else for that matter.

Here in Arkansas, bow season runs from Oct. 1st to Feb. 28th. You can use the bow even during other types ofdeerseasons.

Both bow and rifle.

I enjoy bowhunting much, much more than rifle hunting.I rifle hunt because it's when the family gets together and just hangs out. Wouldn't miss it for the world. Bowhunting is my true passion though.

I've only recently picked up the bow to hunt other areas during the primitive weapons seasons. I have no intention of giving up my main source of freezer fillers. I hunt mostly with my Marlin 30/30 and sometimes the Rem 270.

Theres a couple of areas I hunt that a rifle is just becoming inappropiate. I like the fact that I can take deer here now without causing alarm to nearby neighbors.

I hunt with muzzleloader and compound bow. Any day I can get out and deer hunt in any fashion is a great day!

I got burned out with hunting deer with rifle back in 98. It was not enough challenge anymore for me. I took 4 years off hunting deer, untill I got the urge (BowBug) again. Now strickly Bow season only. I just can't get enough of it.:D

Guns are really loud.
I dont like loud.
So I dont hunt with guns often.

99.9% of the time I am in the woods with my bow.

I hunt with my bow from opener until gun season. I have always hunting with my dad and he hunts first gun season so I trade my bow for a gun. Then I get the muzzleloader out.

I bowhunt only for whitetails for these reasons............I spend enough time bowhunting that my wife wants me to take a break, I just don't enjoy taking a deer with a gun nearly as much, and its too crowded in firearms season for me.

Why would I limit myself to a single weapon if another is legal and I own one?

Other for me, no compound, only longbows and recurves.

I hunt with a bow about 90 percent of the time. I bring the rifle out about the last two weeks of the season.

I hunt with my compound, longbow, muzzleloader, and rifle and I'd hunt with a slingshot if they'd open a season for that!;)
