Do you hunt before or after work?

I really count myself lucky that I am able to hunt most days after work, how many others here get to do that, either after or before school or work?

I'm inbetween jobs right now so I get to hunt all day if I want. But usually I get to hunt evenings after work. I had to borrow a bow from my friend to hunt with though so I'm not hunting much.

KEEP IT LEGAL. KEEP IT SAFE. OR WE MAY NOT GET TO KEEP IT AT ALL.

I am a teacher and during the month of November I hunt before school for about an hour then a couple of days a week I will hunt after school. I hunt several evenings a week during December and get to see deer frequently so it is well worth it. I really like December because the weather is always cool or cold so you dont have to worry about sweating and you can see forever in the woods. Like somone on my post mentioned you need to be pretty high so as to not be detected though. I guess that was a littl of the question but ya I hunt ever time I can.

Both during the rut. Otherwise after work. Anytime is a good time to hunt!

My hours suck. Working 9 to 5 with a forty minute drive all the deer stay alive until Saturday when I spend as much time in the woods as possible. NJ does not allow Sunday hunting. In the early season I can get out after work, but daylight loosing time screws that up.

In the early season, I am able to hunt morning and night. Later on after the time change, I cant get out of work early enough to hit the nite hunt. So its mornings only from late october on.

I work evenings 4 days a week and I Home School my son in the mornings. I dont get to hunt the mornings to much anymore. That really dosent bother me to much anymore because I have been having a blast hunting the daytime and evenings. I have been blessed with 2 bucks and a button so far this year plus the husbands buck in all gave us more meat than we can fit in our chest freezer, so now I am after a turkey and coyote with my bow. I like you consider myself very lucky!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

My hours allow me to hunt hard after work up until time change. After the time changes I might get out 1 or 2 times, but I have to leave work early and I only get about an hour on stand. But sometimes an hour is better than none after a day at work!!

I hunt mainly in the afternoons. I can take my vacation time in 1/2 hour increments and I save several days to divide up so I can leave early and hit the woods--like this afternoon. I like going in when I can see everything and get in my spot instead of bulldozing in the dark and spooking everything around.

RE: Do you hunt before or after work?

Where I lived when I worked it was about two hours to go hunting ,so before or after work was out of the question . Now that I have retired I can go anytime the mood strikes me .
