Dan, the reasonI am probably in favor of socialized medicine is because I don't use healthcare or go to the Dr. and poor Dr. care as you state, wouldn't affect me.It would put $6000 a year back in my wallet. Of course, I am not in favor of more taxes to fund this, just fund it with the foreign aid $$.

Well PreacherTony I do believe this is the wrong forum for this, but IMO it is you who are wrong. The people voted for a king like themselves, Saul fit the bill.God gave them what they voted for.
I said that .... The people wanted a king ... God picked the king

David was not, but pressed into service. The people never said give us David in fact the people tried to kill him like many revolutionaries (remind you of anybody. If it does that, IMO, is the proper use of this passage)
David was picked by God also ... you are wrong

I also don't believe the story was given to prove anything about voting,so in my estimation it is you who are taking the scriptures out of context as well as (voting or not) being something you have a hard time staying on topic about.
I guess I should have typed it slower for ya .... I said the Israelites stood around and did nothing, and a youngDavid comes around and sees it and says, "is there not a cause?" , i was likening it to those that don't vote, to those that do something becausethere is a cause!! Is that clearer to you?? There is a cause!!! There are politicians waiting in the wings that hate guns and hunting. SHame on anyone that didn't do their part to try and stop the end of our sport!!!

Once again I say get educated with some history and in this case that would be with early church history and in particular their views on voting for an earthly leader. You could start with the amish view. It has changed little. The history of voting in this country would be good to read at the same time. If you then presented a case from these findingsfor voting over not voting, I'dbe more inclined to listen. As it is, you remind me of the media. Same tactics. Fear!I turned them off a long time ago and found, I could think for myself. Stopped attending any organized "Church" as well. Just couldn't see any difference in the too. I see things haven't changed. Church meetings where people voted were just as ugly an affair (just to keep this on topic):D

And just to keep this whole subject at least for my part a bowhunting topic, the history of the times of Carthage have some great bowhunting stories.:DOne about the huge packs of wolves that filled the land.
Blah blah blah ... you are your own god

:D(might as well piss of another crowd).

That says it all nodog ... now back in your cage;)

I wish there was a party that believed in no foreign aid to other countries, a strong military, our borders secured, low taxes, no welfare to losers that scam the system, and concealed carry permits except for felons and thementally ill.
Don....you sound like you're looking for the Libertarian party.

But Don....did you REALLY say you'd institute socialized medicine??? Really? For all the views you showed above.....to promote big government getting involved in our healthcare matters, frankly,.....surprises me. I want WAY, WAY, WAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY LESS government.

I feel the healthcare system and costs have gotten way out of hand. Ford Motor Company just posted record losts. Companies can't afford to pay for health insurance for their employees and it isn't their job to IMO.A fractionof the taxpayers $$ being wasted and going to these other countries in foreign aid could just pay forfree healthcare for every American. Our American made products would be lower in price as the large price of health insurance would be lifted from the manufacturers' back.Health care is the BIGGEST operating cost for big and smallbusiness. We also can't forget that over half of America has no health insurance as they can't afford it. We make sure that foreigners are helped before our own people are. Screw the foreigners, take car eof things at home. If my kid needs a new coat, I don't take the coat money and send it to a kid in Uganda. I take care of my owns' needs.
HCH the problem is not healthcare cost. The issue is we are lazy, fat nation. Our over weight population has caused more medical problems forthe health care system.

I am a personel trainer and I see it everyday. I help a guy loose 150 lbs, and guess what all his medical problems went away.

My wife and I stick to a strick diet, no persevatives, no MSG's. I have not been to a doctor in 15 years.

If ford required their employees to work out 30 mins a day 5 days a week; they would cut their health care cost by half.
Germ ... I couldn't agree with you more!! Not only that, but due to advancements in medicine, people live longer!! So here we have people that don't take care of themselves and are sickly ..stretching out their existence, and in turn jacking medical costs through the roof!![X(]

My bill was $1100 for my ankle. At $500 a month for our family B/C B/Splan,this is $6000 a year X 6 years since my last Dr. visit. That is $36,000 in medical insurance not to mention I have a deductible of$200 a year that I pay 1st on my ankle. So, if I just skipped my insurance, I have $35,000 in my pocket. Now you know why I am ready for free medicine and piss on the foreigners.

YUP, get a real illness to come by and your $6,000 medical insurance cost is nothing. Would you like me to sit down and add up all the cost for my wife's last 10 months of her life? I'll start with the first bill from the oncologist, $20,000. Throw in $4,000 catscans etc etc etc on the side. She saw him or the radiologist for 10 months. They'd own your car, your home and anything else you have, and the doctor would still have his ski place in BeaverCreek. Or, they'd have told you there's nothing to do and please go away. My wife was 2 months from death when they diagnosed her. We needed the extra 8 or 9 months as a family. It was wonderful. Medical insurance cost were worth it.

And you people that have all these lame excuses for not voting. Unbelievable. You have no right to beesch about anything. You deserve what you get. The politicians arenot the problem, you are.
