RE: Sportsman ....Do You Vote??
How about those that haven't voted ....c'mon, you don't need to post anything ... no one will no how you voted aunless you want them too

RE: Sportsman ....Do You Vote??
Absolutely I do.
My opinion is this: If you don't vote, you have no right to complain about anything. I know alot of armchair politicians, that whine about everything...yet they don't vote ever. Incredible. |
RE: Sportsman ....Do You Vote??
ORIGINAL: davidmil And you people that have all these lame excuses for not voting. Unbelievable. You have no right to beesch about anything. You deserve what you get. The politicians arenot the problem, you are. Rights to beesch? Last I check no one was exempt from paying tax's if they don't vote or various other mandated issues. An educated voter was one of the things this country tried to ensure would be the case. Today the uneducated is seen as educated just because they vote. And history has given plenty of examples of how easy it is to manipulate them. Welfare is nothing new and it has been used in the past to buy voters. Are the welfare lines growing? How about those who just received a minimum age increase? Freedom is being voted away at a rapid rate by these debtors. We already have health care provided free for them. Another reason I left the church Tony, is because I had no longer a desire to play the part of the accuser of men. Don't use the "daddy" thing again. It's the equivalent of taking someone up to a high place and telling them to jump to prove who their Father is. As for the David thing, he came with a disclaimer "the Spirit of God entered him and never left". David was just a man God used to tell man what His Son would be like when He came, God killed the giant. Saul was just a man God used to tell man why they needed a savior among other things related to His Son's coming. IMO the only 2 reasons the bible was given and to use it other wise is to use it out of context except for speculation. Man needs a savior and Jesus is that savior is why it was given and from being to end and, if used for these purposes, will never contradict it's self. |
RE: Sportsman ....Do You Vote??
I vote. I'm a Card carry'in member of the GOP!!
(that's "Grand Ole Party" for you guys in Rio Linda) Oh, and the GOP is the Republican Party, our conservative voice in this great nation. Not as conservative as I'd like, but it's the best thing we got going right now! Trae |
RE: Sportsman ....Do You Vote??
First of all, I think that it is very irresposible to vote for parties. I myself am registered as a democrat, but have very moderate tendencies. Why would you vote for the party that "best represents your values", which I'm sure mean heavy christian, when that party brings us congressmen who are involved in child pornography, administrations that cater to big oil, and a president's agenda that sends thousands of americans to die in a foriegn county so that he can try to finish what hisfather couldn't in the early 90's. Iwould not agree thatGeorge Bush isagreat president, but I do however support him. What do I mean by support? I mean that I do not sit around hoping that he makes a mistake. I pray every night thatthis country be led into better things, and that gooddecisions be made. With that being said, the current administration have made some good decisions, but they have also made some bad decisions. Andinthis case, the good decisions have been outweighed by the bad decisions. SoRepublicans, nexttime you feel like calling aDemocrat a "liberal" or "unamerican",remember that everyone in this county is an American, and have just as much right to opinions as you do, even if they don't agree with what you believe. And Democrats, remember that youdon't have to agree with your government, but support it, supportAmerica, that is what makes you a trueAmerican. And everyone remember, vote for the person, not the party. God is neither a Democrat or Republican!

RE: Sportsman ....Do You Vote??
What we need is a third party!!! To represent what 70% of all Americans really believe; in other words a truly representative government!

RE: Sportsman ....Do You Vote??
Thanks Dan. Glad you been thinking of me, 'cause if Hillary gets in I need a job up there running your Bear Camps and will learn all about Canada.:DI don't know what the answer to Americas' high priced healthcare. Maybe instead of it being socialized medicine in America, we just keep it private like it is, and the tax $$that we send in foreignaid is used to pay for every Americans insurance premium;)I could also just pay my own premium easily ifmy earnings weren't taxed so damn high and given to foreign countries in aid.

RE: Sportsman ....Do You Vote??
Socialized medicine is a loser. Period. Think about going to a place like your driver's license office or the post office to get an appendectomy. No thanks. I'd rather pay a little (or, OK...a LOT) more and have some peace of mind. You take away a Dr.'s incetive to excel ($$).....and you'll get less-than the cream of the crop entering that profession. Why would they?????
