Ahhh, I just like to give him a hard time about it. He gives me a hard time for havinga Ford, so I have to give him a hard time about not staying in the U.S.

Shoot, if I could afford the new Tundra I'd get one in a heartbeat.

Back to topic...I would seriously love to go to this get-togetherbut taking vaction and driving 16 hours to Illinois for a couple days kinda stinks, honestly.

I'm not out yet....just undecided.

Dan I was looking at some online plane ticket sand you can get roundtrip for around $366. And figuring if your car gets 25 mpg, estimate gas will cost you $284 at $2 a gallon. Depending on your mileage and the price of gas out west, it might be cheaper to buy that ticket.

Good point, MO. I'll just start saving the cash now and we'll see when the time comes.

Duc, I understand where you're coming from completely. I feel obligated to go because I opened this can of worms...

I was planning on it, but the motor in my dad's Toyota blew up so I used my plane ticket money to help get that fixed.
You'll pay way less for round trip airfare than you will spend on 50 hours round trip worth of gas. take a plane and have someone pick u up at the airport.

Wash driving 25 hours is pointless. I flew down to Carolina a few years back and it cost me a little over200 dollars, unreal. Go to cheap tickets or them deal finder sites, book well in advance and you can get tickets dirt cheap. Even if you do not have lets say 300 dollars at the moment, i am sure you will have it by the time you go get your ticket. Book now and laugh.

Wash,

You almost shouldn't start a thread unless all of the details are in size 4000 with neon lights surrounding it.

Ohh btw, I am pretty sure I'll be there.

Dave,

I may have to look into flying as well. Does the limo service apply to me too?

The thing about flying is...besides the fact this "hillbilly" (as you will) has never flown...is bringing my bow along for the ride.

Purchase a hard case and a padlock, Duc.

I'll have to do the same.
