A friend of mine shot one in wisconsin this last season that had a broadhead stuck right behind it's eye. Is was a smaller 6 point but he didnt notice anything wrong with it until he go up to it to dress the buck out.

I got a doe three years ago that also had a few inches of arrow and an intact broadhead just below her eye. The area I was hunting was a bow-only state park in Pennsylvania. I never guessed someone took the shot intentionally... I would hope that it was a mistake or that it hit a branch to deflect or something! The doe functioned perfectly fine, and I think the wound was at least a year old. I believe she was blind in one eye (maybe that's why I was actually able to succeed in taking her! :-) ) because the eye was a milky white color.

I shot a small racked 8 point during gun season . It had an arrow through its cheek and the tip was down in its neck . I tried to post pics and gave up . I have them down loaded into PhotoBucket and they will post up on any site except this one . ??????????????????????????
