RE: 10 to 1
ORIGINAL: hardcorehunter Basically it all boils down to the fact the no one really cares that you geta deal on your archery crap. I know I don't. Your opinions on bowhunting or equipment also don't interest me. Youhave very little experience as abowhunter and an archer so your opinion is of little importance to me. What bowhunting you do participate in is in a city urban setting. Enough said. What bowhunting you do participate in is in a city urban setting. Enough said. Looks like a strange city;) ![]() |

There ya go, Don.....!! Let your true colors shine through!!!
So let me get this straight, though.....just so I know how you look at things...... If I started playing golf, tomorrow.....and you'd been playing for 20 yrs........and I got to scratch in 16 months.....(and it took you those 20 yrs to achieve the same results)....... You're still a better player???? How long I've been hunting DEER has nothing to do with anything we're talking about here......but it's the ONLY thing you can condescend to me about. You are VERY transparent. |

Don't mess up a good story with the truth.....lol. That photo (and yes, I recognize it)....is the other side of the "park" I talk about so often. the "Park" is a 200+ acre area that's an old farm. the "Park" has a 1 acre pond and a walking track. These areas take up about.....10 acres??? The rest is ......well....it's an old farm. The areas around the farm are........old farms. City boy??? lol............ |
RE: 10 to 1

RE: 10 to 1
How the heck did this post turn into such garbage over night?
Don, I respect you because I know you know quite a lot about hunting Whitetails. I value the information you provide because you've spent a lot of time hunting and you know what you're talking about. At the same time, and though he may not have as much experience, Jeff knows more about urban deer hunting than anyone I know. I value his input on this aspect of our sport because the way he is hunting now may be how I have to hunt 5, 10, or 15 years down the road. So because of this, I both value and respect his opinion as well. I've been hunting for only eight years, archery specific for only four. I would hate to think that because I've only been at it less than a decade that you no longer value my opinion and find the information I have to provide useless because of it. |
RE: 10 to 1
Your crediablility as a archery reviewer pretty well spoke for itself when we argued over my review of the drenaline and I said that it had handshock. You discounted my review; then the archery forums weeks later were full of the same comments as mine. Now you are saying the Vectrix has handshake. Your comment is the only one I have read to date with this same comment. I am sure that there are more, but it will require a lot more searching than a drenaline handshock review. You were shooting a Mathews then.

RE: 10 to 1
Sorry man I thought it was the one about deer management, wrong post, LOL They are going at in two threads, I was confused!!
Sorry !! Viva La Hoyt!!! There back on track |
RE: 10 to 1
WH, you know more about bowhunting than most guys in a lifetime willever know. Like I stated, I take his gear reviews with a grain of salt and no one in a year can become an expert at suburban hunting. I have been bowhunting for 30 years andhave a lot learn. I will neverbe done learning; when I know it all, I will quit. I will never quit if that tells you anything.

I never said the things you said I did.....and I never shot the Drenaline until I was looking to buy my Bowtech.....which I did buy. Honestly......compared to the Vectrix.....the Drenaline DIDNT have handshock.......but compared to even my '05 SB...it did. These are MY opinions....based on MY experience in comparing the bows? How can they be "wrong"? It's simply an opinion! What's your REAL beef with me??? |
RE: 10 to 1
For the record, The "Pro shop" I go to sells Hoyt and PSE, he sells FAR more PSE bows than he does Hoyt. I suspect it is due to the cheaper cost than anything else but the fact still remains he sells more PSE. The shop that I purchased my bow from (not a pro shop but more like a small sports shop) sells more Mathews than anything else, they are about 30minaway from each other.....go figure.

Shooting five bows in your life and only bowhunting for a year is OK and we have to start somewherebut your opinions onbowsgoes out the door when you state that the vectrix jumped out of your hand. Like Diesel stated and I agree with, I have nevershot a bow that jumped out of my hand, even my old 20 year old bows. http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1805163&mpage=8&key== |
