New Bowhunter

Hey guys, Im a new bow hunter looking to buy my 1st crossbow. I dont know mych about archery. I can not spend alot of money on a bow either, because i only work in the summer. The bow will be used to hunt deer. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums REDRYAN

Personely I don't know that much about crossbows other than it's like shooting a gun , you should reconsider about compounds.
If you want to find out more about crossbows then post your question in their forum .

Welcome. I don't know much about crossbows, but I do direct you to the crossbow forums. However don't avoid the bowhunting forum because I believe this forum has the best info, just simply leave out the word crossbow when sharing your stories or asking your hunting questions.

I just bought my wife a PSE crossfire, it's an old xbow but it still works. You could probably pick one up off of E-Bay pretty cheep. Keep in mind you usually get what you pay for with these bows and some of the cheapest are 300 plus. Teh better ones are around 700 and up to 12 or 1400. Welcome and good luck with your hunting experience.
