RE: set me up for next year
Depends on your hunting style... but my Kwikee Quivers have been wonderful for me, because I only use my quivers to carry my arrows for me to my stand. Then I use the screw-in brackets to attach my quiver at waist height on the tree just off my right hip. I can shoot, reach down and grab an arrow and nock in about a second. Total cost is about $25 for both quiver and screw-in tree bracket accessory.

I like my Bohning Lynx quiver. It's plenty quiet to leave on, I think it was $35. They also make the brackets to mount on trees or stands for $5.

The new Drop Zone gets my vote for arrow rest!

I thought about suggesting the DZ as cornfed did, but you can find the trophy takers for much cheaper and they weigh substantially less. I havea DZon my razortec and a TT on my Trykon and it's dang near silent. |

RE: set me up for next year
any detachable quiver, choose to your liking, MZE rest, name brand arrows (easton, carbon express), and magnus stinger broadheads.

RE: set me up for next year
ORIGINAL: IL-Cornfed ORIGINAL: dwd2001 trophy takers..... they weigh substantially less. Very true Cornfed, it weighs 20% less than the old one but still more than the TT. I don't disagree with you at all about it being a great rest, I LOVE mine. :D |
RE: set me up for next year
i just went to the bow shop today and the dealer was just back from the ATA show and had a quiver there that i was really pleased with it was different because it was a one piece but could be adjusted on your bow up or down and could be turned so your arrows could face at an angle this way your arrows would not be lower than your bow or you could set them so they would not get hung up on brush as easily
it also came with a hook and when you get to your treestand you put the hook in and place the quiver on the hook and then they are off of your bow i thought it was a very good quiver and am planning on putting one on my next bow but i am not sure of the name mabey someone else would know the name |
