Maxima arrows

I have 2 questions whats the difference between the regular maximas and the maxima hunters? and do the luminocks work on the maxima 250's?

The one's with the red collars will have to have the collars removed for luminocks to work. They just pull out. BTW, I think the collors are the only difference in the two shafts.

That's pretty much the going price. The differnce is the finish. The Hunters have a camo finish on the front 2/3 of the arrow, what they call weight forward technology. It's designed to give you better FOC and a bit more arrow weight. The Maxima's don't have that, they are just a solid black finish.

The hunters aren't on there, they must be updating their website with all their new stuff. ;):D YES!

RE: Maxima arrows

I would think they should fly pretty close the 250 hunters only weigh .7 of a grain more per inch than the 250 maxima's and the spines are close as well.
Personally, I purchase a dozen of the same arrows then practice with 6 and hunt with 6
Good Luck

I shoot the Maxima 250 for target and hunting. I don't see that the camo finish does anything. The maximas are the best arrows that i have ever shot.

I don't think that you can go wrong with them!

The difference between the two is a camo finish on the hunter and the hunter is a few grains heavier. I buy mine at ebay for about 85 to 90 bucks. I REALLY like the way they fly. I use the regular maximas with two red and one yellow feather. Blazers are nice but I am a long time feather junkie.

RE: Maxima arrows

The hunters are indeed heavier, and they will impact lower than the regular maximas. I see this time and again....people get different arrows for "plunking" and hunting.....Shoot the same arrows.
