i know it is...all three of my bow kills have been within 5 yards...i would just like to have that pin there incase the big guy that keeps rubbing my trees:D is being stubborn one day next season

No, I think I would wait an see if he got any closer. The one I shot atat 27 yds duck the arrow. He was about 20 inches wide, that was in 2003 . It took metill this year to get over that. " I find it better to do your homeworkanget him in close than try to hope for 50 ayard shot, there is a lot of things that can happen in those few seconds"

As far as I feel like it and I'm comfortable with the shot. Close is better, but sometimes you have to take the shot.

If you wanna shoot that far and feel confidente enough, go for it, but dont post something next year saying you missed a shot at 60 yrads and woonded a nice deer and can't find him

Well i shot 70 at home for fun. But i would only shot 40 when i am hunting.

that is my last post on this thread....it really sux that i cant even ask peoples oponion about shooting without somone trying to make me feel like a dumba$$

Wabash, One of the biggest reasons we see wounded deer threads on this site is "well it was the only shot I could get and he was a big buck"

Only you will know if your proficent enough at the range you mentioned.

When your practicing just be aware how long it kaes for that arrow to get there,and then figure all the little things that can go wrong.

Hey if your confident in your abilities go for it,I'm not going to be sitting next to you telling you what to do.
