The limbs look spindly to me. But I am not a big Mathews fan.

hey just wondering also what was the price u payed for yours. mine was $695 plus tax. i liked how my lx was set up so i kept everything off of it to put on my new one. I got 350 bare out of my lx. i thought that was pretty good. I really wish i would of kept it tho i loved that bow. it would make me a good back up bow. i have contacted the guy that bought it off consignment at the bow shop and offered him 375 for it back and he said he would let me know this week being he needs the money back so i might get lucky and get it back

I'm not down grading any other bows but Mathew is one of the best out there. You get all what you pay for. Service and warranty is one big issue in buying a bow and you do pay for technoligy which I think they lead. There are lot of good bows out there that is for sure.

wabash, the big three bows are expensive up here in WNY.... I paid $740[X(]

shot one the other day at the pro shop.I am looking for a new bow myself It was very quiet on the shot and had so little shock that I would almost say there was none.It was very lite my only gripe was I thought the draw cycle was a little harsh. But overall a awsome bow.Now on to the Bowtech line then I get to choose my next baby.HA HA

Big discussion on this bow over on AT. Limbs are a snappin is the word I get but Mathews will make it right. There a great Company. We went with a guardian this time for my son but I cant seam to justify getting rid of the mathews I have for any bow

The bow has only been out a short time, I question the legitmacy of a lot of limbs just crackin all over the place. Can that many of them be out there already? Did Mathews not do extensive testing on their first new limb design in years? I need to know more about that claim before i just take it with a grain of salt. JMHO

They have proven that most claims are false .... people want attention .... it wasprobably started from those no good Hoyt and Bowtech people .... ;)

I picked mine up Saturday. It's a great shooting bow but I wasn't impressed with the speed.

If you wanted speed you should have known not to get a mathews.

This is my 5th Mathews so I know that they aren't the fastest bow out there, but this bow is supposed to be 10 fpsfaster than the Outback that I sold to buy it and it's actually slower.

If i was going to buy a mathews i would go with the XT smoother draw, no hand shock, dead on in your hand and a few bucks less. The new one is faster and lighter if thats what your in to.
But ,you should shoot them and decide what you like.

my buddy got one for Christmas and he likes it. his brother dry fired it on accident and it broke the string and one of the limbs was cracked. the pro shop said it was about 400 dollars for the damage but mathews warrantied it. i shot it the other day and i really liked it. it is a very light bow and it is very quiet

RE: Mathews new bow out

That limp that broke was first posted on the mathews forums and someone took it and posted it on AT without the owners permission they were saying it was a bad press job. Mathews Test all there bows for 3 to 4 years before they put them out to the public. So i highly doupt the made a mistake.
