just wondering if u thought this was a young deer. It was my first buck and he was at 3 yards broadside so i had to take the shot. Otherwise i would of let him walk. his face seems darker than some of the other bucks i see in my area just wondering what u thought

I would say 1-1/2 by looking at the rack. What did he weigh? If he weighed under 130 I would still say 1-1/2.

2 or 2.5 , how much did he weigh?

we couldnt find him that night lost a blood trail and it started raining so we pulled out till the morning to get the 4 wheeler out and find him. But the coyotes got him [:@]

This is what I say. You'd have to know the body size to know for sure.

Well, I believe if you look at his lower jaw and the first premolar has three cuspids instead of two, he's a 1.5 year old. Otherwise I'd guess 2.5.
