Rubs
I went out scouting today and found a few rubs. I took a pic of a couple of nice ones. The first one is on the edge of a bedding area in a strip of pines. There are usually a couple like this every year in this spot.

RE: Rubs
This rub is on a phone pole where I sometimes park my truck. I've thought about waiting in the back of my truck, and hiding behind the tail gate![:-]

RE: Rubs
Those are some nice rubs.
Bucks love making them on pine trees. Alost all the rubs i see are on pines. I think it is because the bark is softer and easier to spread their scent, or maybe it has something to do with them likey the pine scent. Anyone know? |
RE: Rubs
Pines are arromatic. Bucks will often rub them. I've found many rubs on pines in PA. Usually they're the larger variety.
