The toughest arrow I've shot so far, as far as putting them into things they're not SUPPOSED to be shot into, are PSE CarbonForce X-Weaves. The STL Hunter shafts can be had pretty cheaply. I've twice put them THROUGH saplings and in both cases pulled the arrow out unharmed. NOt to mention bouncing them off of branches and rocks.

I think it might but it depends on how good the arrow is.
