Honey Locust Pods?
 

What time of year do these things start falling. I found a grove of them and the deer have tore them up. I knew they would eat them after the acorns were gone. I guess this is more directed to those from the south as I am in Louisiana. Thanks for the input.

Don't know when they fall down there in LA but most are off the trees by late Nov here in IL. Deer will indeed eat 'em up but I've found their usage is very minimal when food plots and regular Ag fields exist. My deer just don't seem to care for 'em much.

We have a few around are neck of the woods in southwest Arkansas. I think they fall in Nov. around here.
