What is the average whitetail buck weight in your area of a 2 1/2 year old. The average around South Arkansas close to the river where I hunt is about 155 lbs .

the average whitetail buck i have shot. in maryland has to be around 175-185lbs.. but all counties are different here. baltimore you have 200+ average an carrollcounty is 140+ average..
it depends on the food an how hard they are hunted

In my area for a 2 1/2 year old around 150-160 field dressed,3 1/2- 4 1/2 160-200lbs depends on what time of year and if there rutted down, they can run themselves down quite a bit. I have never got past 4 1/4 so im in the dark there.

In NW Arkansas i would say 140-150lbs for a2 1/2year old.

The average for northern Wisconsin is around 160-200.

The average deer in our area is about 150. The average of my three deeris about 170 pounds.

The pine barren deer I hunt in NJ would average about 80-90 pounds for a 2.5. I have seen 55 pound spikes and 100lb 10 pointers.

The mature 4.5 yoa bucks where I hunt weigh in the 200 Lb ranges.
