yeah thats right, i've never even seen a world class buck, probably nothing over 150". That was a huge mature doe guessed at the check-in's at 6 years old. She's a trophy in my book....thats all that matters
Anyone else find it ironic that the lean, mean, monster buck killing machine who started the thread.....has a pic of him and a doe in his avatar?[&:]
BTW, you need to add quiksilver to the list. He likes seeing his name in print

So if its a trophy to you its ok.....I guess none of the deer the other people shot are allowed to consider them trophies? Do me a favor, before the 07 season, post a list of the qualifications for a trophy in your book. I'd hate to make your list next year.

RE: delayed gratification
I won't shoot small bucks as I like to let them walk and grow into maturity;but since none of your lands' border my timbers and I don't pay your bills orbuy your deer tags for you,I don't give a damn what size of bucks any of you shoot.
Because as you can see, it is none of my business

I tried to read this, i can't.
Soldier, is that doe in your picture? How is her meat any diff than a young bucks, the younger buck might even taste better. I have shot mature does and small bucks, and the young bucks actually tasted better.
