No, man, I knew it was an axis. I didn't think it was a fawn. Come on, I'm not that dumb. Those cute little whitetail fawns lost their spots months and months ago. It is pretty small though. Maybe because it's Texas. I am just used to seeing those big australian axis on hunting shows. Never have seen one in person. My fault. Congrats, though. Tell us how she tastes. I never heard they were better than whitetail. Now I gotta try em'. Thanks for sharing man!
