when you spend hours doin a stalk on an animal.. and you hear someone driven up on a 4wheeler whereits a walk in only areathat blows your hunt and stalk.not only is it the worst sound but one that just burns your a**.

Worst? - the sound of silence after I heardmy partners hang-on stand come down crashing through the branches ~70 yds away. The home-made stand had a bolt fail -- fortunately he was belted and just had the wind knocked out of him...

The worst sound for me in the woods is complete silence. The dogs barking in the distance is no big deal cause they probably bark all year long anyway's. As for birdhunters, they don't bother me that bad unless they are shooting at me (not on purpose of course) I have hunted birds and bowhunted since I was 12. I have noticed that birdhunters don't bother the deer as much as people think. That's in the early season of course. After the gun hunt, it hardly take's a limb breaking and the deer get spooked and leave. I hate dead silence. That mean's the woods are not alive and nothing is moving for some reason or another. I like a lilttle noise in the woods.
