who was it on here that made awesome bow strings
 

I decided to change my bow string in preperation for my sept. bear hunt. I cant remember who it was on here that made them, everyone spoke very highly of the strings.. Could anyone help me remember?

Oh, and are the strings pre-stretched?

As far as I know, Crackers has never posted on HNI... While he's got his legions of fans on AT, I'd bet you're thinking about gibblet on here.

Greg is correct. Rob does indeed make strings, but just for himself and friends. He has NO desire of selling them.

mike posted on here a few times then disappeared, not sure why - but i know he's very busy. i haven't talked to him in a while - maybe he thought he would leave me this turf - but he knows i'm not like that at all - when i used to need help w/ lengths, serving positions, or my equipment - he was always the first person i called - and we got along real good. he's helped me w/ some techniques too. i'd buy his strings. i think his username is crackers1 on here.

Gibblet I do think you are the one I was hearing good stuff about..
I just need a new bow string and I need a really good one this time around, would prefer one pre-stretched also. Are you interested in making one for me? If not who makes the best strings that aperson can buy for my Mathews Outback?
