Warmer today than the bow opener
 

When I left the house this morning over an hour before sunrise, the outside temp was 61 degrees! It's supposed to be in the low 70's here today. I don't know for sure, but I would venture to say that it was warmer this morning than it was back on Sept 15th when the season opened!

I didn't see a deer and I don't really care now. I cared a lot back during the rut when the temp stayed in the 70's and hit 80 one day, but I've had a good season. Also, with a party at my folks (it's my birthday today) and the playoffs all afternoon and evening, I'd have been too busy to process the deer anyway!

Sure has been a WARM season.

Dave, you're not kidding it's hot. I don't ever remember taking down Christmas lights in a short sleeved shirt and shorts!

Yep it was warmer this morning at 2:30am than it was the first few hours on the PA opener that's for sure. This weather is certainly strange. High of 62 here today.

I did not bother getting up this morning to hunt as the temps are in the upper 60's.
I came into the house around 1:00pm this afternoon, sit down to eat lunch and there are 2 nice does browsing around my 3d's in the backyard.

Yup, I got up, made the coffee and took it and my laptop out on to the patio in shorts and a T Shirt.

The temps bring up some good questions.
Does anyone have a secret tactic for warm weather when it's supposed to be cold. Or should we stay home??
It was 62 today and I see sign on the trails but nothing leaving the sign.
