I saw a show once where these guys were going around a hippy convention (I don't remember what it actually was) getting people to sign a petition to ban this dangerous substance. They had things like if you ingested too much it will kill you, if you are overexposed it will kill you, if broken down it creates two highly explosive gases, etc. They got like 3000 signatures to ban water.... hilarious. That is a perfect example of how educated these people are. Which let's me bring out my favorite again... "Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience."

Petitions like that are generally worthless since the signatories aren't providing their mailing address , makes it impossible to determine whether they actually exist . The IRS is already aware of PETA and their activities , if they get caught crossing the line their exemption will get yanked .
