hunting ban

the main people of the state are tryiong to ban hunting in matrietta, georgia where i hunt most of the time. some idiot was hunting on national park property and running around shooting deer with a bow in peoples yards also. he did it infront of one ofthe main state people and now hes pissed. in the city here its already only bow hunting. so nows theres probably no hunting soon. and its one of the best places around. i hunt near the mountain on private property and stay away from the mountain. and if my deer goes on the mountain, i call the park office and have a ranger come with me. but he went to far and broke a lot of laws. so now i have to find a new place to hunt this really really really sucks.

The 10% can ruin for everyone. That's why we all have to police our own. Not that you could have done anything in this situation, but maybe someone could have. I hope it doesn't end up with no hunting for you.

Or better yet, instead of just letting it happen you could step up to the plate yourself and try and keep it from happening.

Don't let one bad egg ruin it for everyone.

Horse Hockey! Let them ban hunting and watch the population explode, insurance rates go up and landscaping fees. Go to your town meeting and voice your opinion. The laws worked if this guy got busted.

Why bother the ranger to go on state property to recover deer? Maybe if I was going to bring my bow I would. But if I was only going to recover the deer,I would never bother calling since it's a park. You as a tax payer (and/or illegal allien)own a piece of it.

yes but it is required to do so. so im not gunna break the law. and they are always out there so why risk a fine.

they have been doing this for a while now and i just now found out about it in the paper. i dont know what i can do about it know. (as in over 1 year)

most of the head people want it anyways so i have got no cluie on what to do. i guess i have to find a new place to hunt. so now i have to go pay those riddiculous prices like 1000-300 bow hunts. man this really sucks

Yup, we lost a great piece of property because someone else couldn't control themselves.

Ask to appear before the state council and plea your case not everyone should be punished for the ignorance and stupity of others. Make them listen to you. Start a petition and get it signed by as many people as possible, not only hunters.
I really hope it all works out for you.
