That is a neat and different way to mount one.

Are the prices reasonable?

If I remember they were around $80. Don't take my word on that though. Look at their website.

You could do that mount in 1/2 hour yourself and save alot of money!

You would have to carve some sort of mold, that would take more than a half hour I am sure.

Or you could cut a chunk of tree and make some disposable molds out of something that would chip off of the cement or whatever that is.

By the way, that is a cool lookin mount.

It would be so easy to make something like that. All you need is a low pan, some heavy duty corregated cardboard with one side of the cover paper peeled back.THey make a real small desert baking pan that would be perfect. Form you circle with the cardboard with the rough side in. support the horns so they're inside the form to the proper height and off the bottom. Mix up so mortar or some sort of crafting cement and pour the form full. They just mounded the raised area by hand around the horn base, probably later. When dry, Pull off the form and you're there. You could tint the mold if you wanted or paint the rough outside like the bark of a tree. Hardly worth $80. I think I'll try it with this 8 point and 10 point, 2nd and 3rd deer in during this off season.:D

Jalinto, you an owner?? You have 9 posts and most are regarding this product. If you have an interest in this Company why not just say so?

It's even the same set of horns and old couch as your last photo last year.

Do you really think they're going to come hunt me down in the Adirondacks for having a set of horns sitting on a desk? Patent.... I don't think they could do anything to a guy making a holder for his horns with some crafting cement. As long as I'm not making money at it I don't think they'd bother. Heck, I could always take a cross section of a tree with the bark on it, hollow it out and form an upside down funnel inside and fill that with the cement. Then it's not theirs and it's a real wood piece looking purdy.;) I suspect if you hollowed it out with and dug back under the edge the cement would be in there rock solid. In fact, it sounds better than theirs. I'll even let them patent it.[8D] I don't see anywhere on their site a reference to patents, only their name is trademarked.
