slow motion ????

I stay pretty calm as the chance for the shot comes. After I draw it seems that everything goes into slow motion untill the arrow strikes the deer or I miss. Then everything speeds back up.It a really cool feeling that I have had from the first deer I killed to the 19th killed this year.Anybody else have that weird feeling???

i no exactly what you mean. Its like everything you do is so slow. I have it worse on bucks than on does tho. Its kinda like a zone that you go into.

For me its either happening so fast I don't recall what just happened or its so slow I visualize the exact release, penetration, reaction and tracking all in one split second!

That seems to happen to me also. It alows my mind to take a snapshot of what happened. Shot placement, deer reaction, direction of travel and last place I saw the deer. Very helpful when explaining to your tracking buddies, the situation.
