No Deer This Year
 

Well hopefully next year I can get within range of a nice buck. I could have harvested numerous does this year, but there was always a nice buck just out of range. I guess I should have just taken a doe since the numbers are out of whack. Can't say that I didn't still enjoy gettin out there every time that I did.

This saturday was a weird one. Sat out all day and didn't see a single deer all day. Lots of moles and squirrels though

So BuckSlayer..... what is your new internet handle going to be.[8D] LOL Someone had to do it. Look at it this way, they'll all be bigger next year. You got them right where you want them. They don't fear you.[&:][8D] Now you can be ready to pounce on them next year.:):) I had one of those years in 1973 when I moved to a new state just a few months before deer season and was starting up a new business. I got out a few times and saw some deer but came up dry. I murdered them the next 30 years.:)

Drew back on a few young Bucks this year, but let them slide. But no tag soop for me, my Wife is a killer! We have a Freezer full of Deer meat!!!

I feel your pain, I went 3 years without a buck harvest. This year it seems like every time i got in the stand i saw bucks, harvested one, missed one.

Been bow hunting for 20 yrs andgot a nice 8 point this year and a doe. Climbed in my stand hunted about two hours was going to give up, before getting down I used the small "can" two times and he came running right to me.Looking right up at me when I shot.I've killed a few bucks over the years but never one so easy. Go figure!

Same here...although I've got till Jan. 31st to do something in the county I live in.

No deer this year either. Could have had my choice of about 30 different doe, but didn't get a tag this year. Only saw one shooter buck at 50 yards. Didn't get out as much as I wanted to, but the times I did get out, there was very little sign of any bucks...just doe.

Hey gents. Don't feel totally down. In many woods the success rate is only about 10 percent. You're in good company that I don't care to ever visit again.[&:]

haha, yeah I hope I can get a big one before gun season next year. Thenice 8 pointer that I had seen right when the rut was kicking in, got shot during gun season so that sucked.
