Am I the only one with this superstition?
 

I like to clean my deer mounts right before opening morning of bow season. I feel it has brought me good luck so far, my brother now does it. I got a nice buck this year, so Icleaned them again before I went again it didn't help. Well not yet.

Thats really weird and you know that really doesn't work. I'll tell you what works well for me is I'll lay my bow/arrowsdown along with my wyoming skinning knife and my backpack and I do an indian dance around it and chant indian stuff. I really don't know what I'm saying but whatever it is I think I pissed the gods off last year.
I also carry a lucky rock in my hunting pocket every year. I think I need to find another one of those too. If anyone wants it let me know.

I'm not gonna mention any names, but there is one member that is known to sleep w/ his mounts the night before opening day.[8D]

For three years in a row 2002-2003-2004 I used a new rifle each time and killed 3 nice bucks in those 3 years. I haven't killed a buck since. The same luck didn't transfer to Bows.

I clean mine right befor season opens also, but only because their on my mind and need it. I do watch, Escanaba inda moonlight the night befor opening day, and have a couple of book size racks I need capes for I pick up and Fondle, then rubb them like a magic lamp for good luck.
