After shooting bow for 3 decades i realised that shooting barefoot gives me a solid base and much more solid pin on the target.I wont be able to hunt barefoot but i may be able to find boots which are less wedged,providing better ballance= better acuracy.

Any vine, no matter how thick orthin itmay be is POISON IVY. If said vine is growing up the best tree along the travel route, do not cut it out with a bow saw to make your stand placement easier, instead abandon the area and go hunt on public land as the vine that is there is especially noxious and powerful. Additionally, poison ivy remedies are usually packed up for the year in November in Wisconsin.

I learned that rattling really does work,[8D] at least it does in Alberta.
I brought two bucks in rattling but couldn't get a shot opp on either. I also learned they don't hang very long when they can't find the "battle".
Oh yea, I also learned where the biggest buck I've ever seen lives!

I've learned don't count you chicken before they hatch, because the other day I had a doe pegged and to the opposite side there where other standing and I got busted big time following one doe with my pin!!!!
