Oh yeah, they're worth it! Much stronger, tighter tolerances.......very much worth the money.....To make this simpler......Easton WILL NOT be making the GGII's this year.....at least that's what our rep is telling us...

What thats like the most popular arrow of all time... theyve probably sold at least a billion of them. thats wierd.

whats a good price for a dozen super slams???(uncut bareshaft and complete arrow???)

Fletched they go for around $90/dozen here....Prolly....75 unfletched.

I know what you're saying about the GGII's.....We said the same thing.....Easton has also done away with about HALF their aluminum sizes this year...

RE: EASTON SUPER SLAM'S

thats because everyone is shooting carbon for some reason...i tried carbon this year and am going back to Alum for good. so im lookin for 2 doz... i'll probably get 1 dozen GGII to beat up and 1 dozen SuperSlam's for when im serious.

i hope they dont get out of aluminium arrows completely...all the size options is what makes easton great in my opinion...but i understand it costs them alot of $$ as well.

RE: EASTON SUPER SLAM'S

Word of caution about getting both kinds.....The weight is different, as are the tolerances.....They may not shoot the same.

RE: EASTON SUPER SLAM'S

im not worried about that a sightadjustment only takes a minute if needed....i just wouldnt want to be trying some crazy practice shots out in the woods with an $8.00 arrow so il get the GGII's also so i dont have to feel bad about beating my arrows to death. i shoot a Recurve instinctivley as well as a compound so ill get a half dozen of each sized up for both bows probably a 2117with a 125grn tipfor my Recurve and maybe a2216 with 100grains tipfor the compound

i think ill be able to to shoot either size out of both bows no prob with an arrow length of 29"

maybe ill just stick with 1 dozen gg at 2117 and 1 doz SS at 2117.... il have to shoot some and make sure tho.

Love my 2213's. Ive usedthe samearrow on 3 deer this year, complete pass through without any damage to the arrow, plenty of damage done to the deer though :D.

RE: EASTON SUPER SLAM'S

3 deer with the same arrow is pretty good...the deer ive shot with GGII's...the arrow always got banged up pretty good....

thats real good considering your shooting a 2213 thats a pretty thin wall.
S. slams are that much stronger than GGII's eh?
