If I killed a State record buck yes I would likely register it.To make sure the animal received the attention it deserved,not to make sure I received any attention.Killing an animal of that caliber is a fluke,especially so if the hunter who killed it isn't consistently killing the top end bucks that his or her area is capable of producing.
An animal like that deserves to be recognized and appreciated for the remarkable creature that it was!

Since I'd never hunt a high fence ranch, I wouldsurely br proud and register due to the amount of time and effort spent in pursuit of these majestic creatures.

heck yes. if i ever killed a buck big enough for p&y or b&c i would definitely register it. that is my dream to kill a b&c deer. i have only seen one big enough for b&c in the wild and that was during my first year hunting when i was 10. i was inexperienced and i didnt get the shot off. my dad said it was bigger than any deer he had ever seen in 30 years of hunting prime big buck country in western kentucky.
