Default Quiver on or off while hunting??

I just recently purchased a used Hoyt Magnatec from one of the local archery shops and noticed that the quiver is allen screwed to the bow. I have always removed my quivers while hunting but I obviously cant do that with this one.

Just wondering what do yall do while hunting. Hunt with quiver on or off bow?? Are there any advantages either way??

Thanks,
TP

I leave mine on.
I like my arrows right there.

When I had big quivers I took them off. Now that I have my 3 arrow Alpine Soft-loc..I leave it on.

I've done it both ways but for the past several years take it off. My climbers have a bracket for my quiver to slip on before I leave the ground. If I'm in a hang on I always carry a Caddy Bracket for the Kwickee in my back pack and put my quiver to the right of my stand so that my hand can easily grasp an arrow. I don't worry too much about having my arrows right there on the bow. I figure that 49 out of 50 times the second arrow isn't a possibility or necessary to have so quick. I do practice with it on the bow some just in case I run into a stupid deer walking in or out. It's happened.

I take mine off once I'm in the stand.

Off. BTW, how much you pay for that bow if you don't mind me asking. I've been trying to sell one ever since I bought my Allegeince.

I take mine off because I shot with it off. I can tell the difference when it is on or off. To me I think I shot better with it off and it sounds quieter.......

I leave mine on, I switched to the two piece design a few years back and prefer it.
