RE: Quiver on or off while hunting??

I have always hunted with my quiver on, but I'm thinking I might start taking it off now. Sounds like a good idea.

I've done it both ways but if it's quieter then I might take it off again.

RE: Quiver on or off while hunting??

I took 2 deer this year that (I won't say 'required') ALLOWED me to take a follow-up shot. On both occasions....I was glad my quiver was attached to my bow. Beofre that time.....I'd switched back and forth between on and off. Now....I leave it on all the time.

I typically take ONE shot when I hunt (if I get that ONE shot). The weight is not an issue. It's not in the way, and I can get another arrow on the riser QUICKLY with it so handy.

It's just a personal preference.

I always take mine off while in the stand. I hang in within arm's reach so getting a second shot "if presented" is never a problem.

I lay my bow on bar on the front of my climber when hunting. If I kept the quiver on it would lay directly on my arrows. Quiver is off as soon as I pull my bow up.
