I havea Gerber carnivore flashlight. The actual flashlight is really good. It has a very bright long beam. It is like a mini spotlight. The carnivore light works pretty good. I shot a buck a few weeks after I got it. The blood trail was so easy to follow I just used the regular LED light. Every once in a while I switched over to the red and blue LED's to see what it looked like and the blood did pop out a little bit. It made the blood easier to see. I don't know how well it will work if the blood is dry. The blood trail that I followed was very fresh and was wet blood. Overall it is a real good flashlight. I found it cheap on ebay for $40.

Check the reviews on Cabela's. Some have said it works well, but others have been disappointed. I'd like to here more on it.
