Who is still hunting?
 

How many of you are still hunting. If not has your season ended or have you called it quits for the year. I am still planning on getting out a few more times before my season ends on Jan 15.

If you need a little incentive. I got my best buck so far on Jan. 2, 2000. He scored 165 gross and netted 155. They are still out there, and you will pretty much have the woods to yourself. Trails are easier to spot in the woods too.

I'll be out a few times until the 15th as well. Waiting for it to get good and cold but just isnt happening. Nice buck by the way, that's definately an incentive to get out there and hunt.

I'll be back at it this weekend. I'm trying to weasel my way out Monday morning, but I'm pretty sure my kids would shoot me.....LOL....

I'm getting pretty discouraged though.....What's the best approach this time of year?

My best spot closed Dec 15, but I have permission for another farm thats open till Dec 31, I figure I'll get two more hunts in this year.

A little. Will be out in the morning a few hours then back to the hospital to visit my mother.

The best plan would be if we get another snow storm sit on the food sources. I talked to a truck driver at work this week who told me he had over 60 deer in a 5 acre unpicked bean field after that storm a couple of weeks ago. This was a little North of Columbia, MO.

If you could find a food source like that you could pick and choose which buck you wanted.

I am, kinda. I am supposed to go tomorrow, but the wife might be popping the kid out soon, so she may not let me!

I'll be heading out at o' dark thirty in the morning...

Just got confirmation from paypal...arrow rest should be on it's way.
Saw lot's of bucks including a dbl. drop monster.
I hope I can get a shot at it, but I'll settle for less.

Im still going strong. I have be out of there by the 31st. Going to hit it hard the last week i have.
