Grandsons first hunting day

Today mom and grandma were on the war path. Loaded myself and five yr old grandson up and went to woods. After carring buddy ladder stand and his bear lil cub bow. He did good for about an hr after that if there were any deer within 5 miles I would have been shocked. I think if I go out anymore he's going along. I remember my grand dad taking me on my first hunt.

Give him a little more time. Not much of an attention span at that age. Squirel huntin might be more exciting for him right now, more action.

Reminds me of the time I took my nephew hunting, He was sitting right next to me arm to arm, he saw 50 deer, I saw none. But I am still workin on him, he to will be an acomplished hunter someday.
