RE: Peep sight alternatives...

OK, turning is just one of the problems I have with a peep. I REFUSE to use a peep w/ rubber tubing....just not gonna do it. The restricted light through the peep dialates my pupil, making the target fuzzy. Add to those 2 the fact that it slows down my arrow a tad....I'm ready to do away with it. I've already removed my kisser, and glad I did! The restricted light/dialated pupil/fuzzy target is the main reason for this .

Well a good set of strings would take care of the twisting problem.:D

I've never had the dilating pupil before. Does it happen after the first shot or does it occur after prolonged shooting? Have you tried a bigger peep to let more light in? Have you tried a no peep?

The pupil dialation is natural....The small peep restricts light and as you know in low light your pupils dialate......

I am wanting to try a no peep, but my shop owner wasn't sure if it would work w/ the TEC riser.....

It looks like the no peep bracket mounts between your sight and the riser. Are the tec risers made differently where that wouldn't be possible?

Nevermind...I just looked at the vectrix and see the problem you may encounter.

I always used a peep and still do but in a different way. I still use my peep to line up my site and get my right A-point. Then I open my left eye and look at my pin and target and shoot with both eyes open.I wish I tried this years ago, becuase I never shot better in all the years of shooting a bow. Give it a try this off season.

I got rid of my peep and went to the "No-Peep" . I put a Sure's A peep on my bow and love it . I hunt during the daytime and don't worry about low light ! :)
