The ATA Show Thread, Jan 18-20, Atlanta, GA
I know we brought this up once before but with the upcoming ATA show I figured we need an "official" thread for those of us who are going to be there. I know some people are working in booths, some are ordering products, and some like me are wandering around aimlessly like a kid lost in Toys R Us. :D
Regardless, we need to set up a time and place for anyone who is interested to meet up. Whether it be for lunch at the show, a meal or drinks afterwards, or just to beat up Matt/PA at the Bowtech booth I'm game for pretty much anything. We'll be arriving early Thursday morning and should be at the convention center by 11 am - Noon, will be there all day on Friday, and then we fly home Saturday afternoon. Oh yeah, we're staying at the Omni which is connected to the convention center. Someone start throwing some times out and we'll see what works for everyone. Jocks & Jills is a pretty decent place in the CNN center. |

My wife and I'll be there, and will be sure to run by the HNI Booth. I'm game for anything as well. I'll let the guys who's been there before come up with time/place info.

We don't have a booth, we're just there walking around and meeting w/customers for the most part. I'll be shooting new bows and taking photos of all the new stuff or the site as well. I will also be updating our ATA show report live from the show every day with the latest happenings.
What happened to the rest of the HNI folks who were going to be there? I know you're out there somewhere! |

Wewill be there..... as for a time its hard to say ...We are so busy placeing orders with manufactures and testing ( I mean playing ):Dwith all the new products and shooting the new bows ...and all the morning seminars...and the big evening parties....It makes it tough to narrow down a time.
I'll also leave it to some one else to come up with a time and we will try to swing by...... It would be nice tosee tha face's and meet the personalities behind these computer names |

I am not going to the show but I am glad you started this thread for the rest of us that won't be able to oogle the new gear. Pictures please....lots of pictures. ;)

Please take lots of pictures guys. I unfortunately will not be going, I am headed to Lancaster, PA from the 26th-28th for the Lancaster Classic and don't really have the ability to take more time off work right now to go with the shop to the ATA show as well in the same month.

Thats too far for us, but we are waiting for the Eastern Sports & Outdoos show in Harrisburg, PA in Feb! We will be there!! Keep us posted on all the great new products and buys!!

I live in Atlanta and wanted to go last year, but of course I'm just an avid bowhunter, not a vendor. Is there anyone here that's in need of an extra worker or two? We'd do it just for the opportunity to be there! If you are interested in hooking up a fellow HNI poster let me know!!!!

I'll be giving a Seminar on Saturday morning. It will be on modern/new tools and tuning techniques. It will be more ad-lib and past attendees seem to really have a good time with this format. Questions and any differing opinionsare preferred and we get into some neat discussions. Of course, this is all done so that the topic is covered completely. Anyone who is attending the show is surely invited to attend any of the Seminars. There is a ton of helpful information given out/exchanged. Hope to see a few of you there.;) |

We will be there also and will have a booth set up. Im actually working on some things for the booth this week. I'm not sure if i personally will be able to make it though because i start back at school on the 15th. Might just have to take a couple days off :D. Ill let you guys know if i decide to. Be sure to check out our booth though and try out the new HeartlandBowhunter sniper pro tree arm.

I'll be in the LW bow tryout booth. I ended up with a extra dealer badge because at the last minute, I'll be running the booth and I'll have a manufacturers badge. Stop by and say hey.:)

Just saw some pics of Lone Wolfs new ladder stand and the new Elite hang on. Get some more pics of them and give me the low down on the ladder. The ladder protion of the stand looked interesting on the pictures I saw.

I have a question on that Rocky Mtn. Blitz broadhead......it looks exactly like the RM Turbos I have been successfully using and I can't tell any difference. Guess I'll try the Blitz!

Thanks for the photos Justin. I think I may pick up a CJ Deadnuts 2 for hunting this year though the broken pin in the photo isn't very convincing. :)
