Ghillie suits?

What do you all think about using ghillie suits when bowhunting?

I use them....but you have to keep your bow arm and your chest tangle free

RE: Ghillie suits?

I have a Rancho Safari brand one and it really conceals me. The head dress has to be adjusted so that I can see my peep on full draw. I also use a full length armguard to keep the string safely from hitting. I prefer carrying the ghillie to the stand set up I want to hunt instead of trying to navigate through brush and sticks with it on. Use a bowholder that sticks in the ground at your left if you are right handed, a small stool, and I also use a 4"X6" camo mirror thatI can scan with instead of moving my head to look around. The mirror isgreat way to see behind you and to the sides without moving your whole body or head.

RE: Ghillie suits?

Yea,
I just got one this year and usedit but i was hard gettin throught the woods with it becuase of all the sticks and stuff. But it did get a deer within 5 yards of me sitting on the ground but it was to small to shot. I like the way they conseal me but I dont like how they get tangled. Any advise to get this to stop?
