Ok skip the beets, LOL

Deep in a swamp you will find some high ground. This is a great spot for hunting. Normaly I look for white oak trees, if you can find this spot a nice buck is sure to come by. Do not be fooled with all th signed you will see on the very outside of the swamp. Ifa mature deer is doing it,it will beat night only. If you see him there during daylight I bet a hot doe is with him. If you get back in his area you will have a chance, but you have to go undetected. Also look for an area with 3-4 scrapes together(Primary Scrape Area). This is what I call a mature buck Kitchen. It is where it is getting ready for the rut. You should also find a few rubs in the area. Now if you bugger this up and he get wind of you the game is over. Move to a new spot.

Thanks for all the great advice. I'm going to try to get my stand out Friday to hunt the 26th or 27th. See what happens.
