Genesis bow?? for youth

Has any one bought the Genesis bow for a youthand how did you like it. My seven year old son has a seneca and has out grown it and it is time to upgrade for him. My older son grew like a weed and was going thru bows left and right and im thinking the Genesis would be a good one forthe younger sonto go thru for several years. Any pros and cons??

My kids had one and loved it. Great bow; fits anybody in the family as it has no set draw length.

I think its a great bow until they are large enough to pull 35 pounds or so (around 10-11 y/o). Once they hit this point the Browning Micro Midas or similar bow is a great option because they are adjustable over such a wide range of weight and draw and can be cranked down enough to hunt deer as well once they are old enough.

Have you looked at the Parker Buckshot. The limbs can be changed from 18 to 50 pound (10 pound increments) One of my buddys grandson has one. He has used the same bow from 6 to 10 years of age. The plus for this bow is that it can be used to hunt with. This boy has dropped 2 this year with it..... good luck.

I bought a Micro-Genesis for my 6 year oldand he loves it. The Genesis was just too heavy for him to hold up to aim accurately.

The Micro is smaller and lighter, yet it is also adjustable for poundage and will last him until he can pull something for deer hunting.

BTW, I got out the door with a Micro-Genesis, release, site and 6 carbon arrows for $160. (Pays to have friends in the business)

Check out the Darton Ranger. My son has been shooting with it for about four months now. It's really flexible and should last a long time. The draw weight ranges between 15-45 lbs. The draw length is 17-28". Available in left and right handed models.
