im surprised coyotes didn't get either of them in 10 days. must not be a lot in that part of PA...

wow, the only part i gotta question is the "600 yards in 10 days" part.

I'VE drug deer further than that in ROUGH country, and never had hardly any hair loss.....
would have to guess the deer was drug 6 MILES to remove all the hair like that...... whaddaya think?

Was there an effort to free the live buck. I have seen similar cases where the dead bucks antlers were cut or shot off to free the living one. Although it would be great mounting the two locked up I would not get much satisfaction from killing the buck under these circumstances unless it was the last alternative.

Wow that's amazing . seen pics of deer with locked horns but not dragging his opponent for days. After 10 days the other buck wouldn't of survived much longer .

That's gonna make a cool mount for the guy that got them. If the CO lets him keep them both. Glad he got the one be4 he succumb to the ordeal.

true, but thats assuming the other deer died the first day, right?

would also depend on the weather, i've hung deer alot longer than that without slippage...just makes me think
