whisker bisquit

what are the ups and downs of the whisker bisquit arrow rest? Does it slow the arrow speed or impede the accuracy? I like the concept of this rest because it holds the arrow in place so it's always there to shoot. what are some other rests you would recommend?

It's an excellent rest. It's strong point is its arrow containment capabilityand cost. The ONLY weakness "I" (emphasis on "I") think it has is it's noisy.

It's not going to slow down your arrows MUCH.

I don't use one.....but I used to....and I still think it's a great rest.

I know lots of people who use them and have said nothing but great things about it. I have never used one, Im a Muzzy fan and have found no reason to switch. Just like most of the people I know who use a biscuit, they see no reason to switch.

Advantage, you have a fully contained arrow.

Disadvantag, as i see it, Vane/fleatching contact.

I used one and just didn't like it. I also thought it was noisy and the idea of vane contact really bothered me. It didn't make a real big difference in speed for me. I gained about6 fps after switching to a dropaway. Some people swear by them to that I say, to each his own.

Best rest ever made as long as you have it tuned properly.

The only problematic Fletching contact I have is with other arrows at the target... [8D]

I shoot white blazers on carbons, and I have to refletch more often than I'd like because I keep shooting them off. Only downside is the dark rub marks on the leading edge of the vanes, only place they can come from is the rest. *shrugs* but it shoots just vine.

Well don't shoot at the same spot.
