My Taxidermist!! Pics!
 

Just wanted to share some pics that 22series and I took at the taxidermists this past weekend when we dropped off the deer he killed. This is at "Life Like" taxidermy here in Jacksonville, IL. Enjoy the pics.

Here are a few pics of my deer (on the stand) that I killed back in Oct. and a few pics of 22series deer (His deer is Hanging.) Also the deer that 22series is holding is the buck my taxi killed. It scored 186.









And finally here are just a few more pictures of random deer that were in the process of being mounted.

So far I have been really impressed with his work on other peoples animals and the ones he has displayed throughout his house. However, this is the first deer that I have taken to him. I just hope mine turns out as good as the rest of his work. I'm keepin my fingers crossed and I will let you guys know if i'm impressed or not when I get the finished product. Until then enjoy the pics.

The little girl is the taxidermists daughter I believe she is 10 or 11. I only know who shot three of the deer. I killed the buck that is on the stand back in Oct. 22series killed the buck that is hanging with the cape still attached last Thursday. And the taxi killed the buck that 22 series is holding in a few of the pictures. My buck and 22 series buck came of the same private 140 acre farm in Scott county IL. As far as all of the other nice bucks hanging throughout the shop I would imagine that the majority of them were killed locally off of private land. However, thats just a guess. By the way the deer that is hanging in the background all alone green scored in the 190's.

private land hunting is too easy, ive killed all of my bucks on public land, Wisconsin:):):):):):):):)[8D];)

Those are some nice Bucks.Did your Taxidermist have his deer in the local paper?I think i remember seeing it inearly Nov.I still can't get over how Big those IL Bucks can get!

I always wanted to be a taxidermist...but didn't think they had time to hunt:)

I guess I was wrong, so I'll go ahead and get the gorilla glue and staple gun back out...:D

Yes blueranger there was a small picture and article in the Jacksonville Paper when he killed that buck. Are you from around here or was you visiting when you saw it.

Goherd, you'll be very satisfied with Terry's work.

Your jaw will be dropping when you are in his shop while a lot of the mounts are finished and waiting for pick-up.

I Hunt Greeneand Scott co. a couple times a year.When i was there in Nov i saw his Pic in the Paper. Thats a Real nice Buck you shot how old was he?Im going 2 try and go by his shop the next time im up there.

Great looking mounts. My uncle is a taxi and does great work. His game room is similar, but most of the things in it are mounts people never picked up. There are lots of his own animals, but I would say about equal numbers of other people's stuff. Great way to showcase your skills though!
