The drenilan hasn't been out long enough for us hunters to give a review. Ask me next year at this time and I can help ya. The Switchback is a great bow, I have been shooting it for the last 4 years, with no complaints.

I was at the pro shop last friday and made it a point again to shoot the switchback xt against the drenaline. I prefer the switchback xt.

I agree. I shot them both a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not trying to stir up the Mathews guys because I think they make great bows. But I did hear a RUMOUR from a Rep at the pro shop I frequent. This rep doesn't sell bows he sells arrows. And he said their test bow came apart on them and had to be sent back to Mathews. It was the new Drenalin.

I shoot a Bowtech.....but I'd trust this about as far as I would ANY internet conjecture I'd heard fourth-person from a guy with Trykon in his username...on subjects involving NOTHING to do with a Hoyt.

Just my advice.

This is what I have heard and read from more and more people. I think they just don't like the additional handshock that the Drenaline produces that the Switchback doesn't.

If the bow came apart it is because someone did something stupid to it. I have shot the bow extensively and taken it apart as well. I have also looked at the slow motion video of the bow and honestly it is one of the most sound limb pockets on the market right now.

Here is the video link........

You should see what the limb pockets on other bows look like during shot execution. ;)[8D] You would be amazed most stay together when looking at these types of slow mo video.
