Which bow?

I am fairly new to bowhunting and I would like some imput on what bow to get. I want 50-60 pound pull, I want a bow that I could be happy with for several years, up to $350. What about the fred bear element is that bow anygood? that's the one I'm looking into so far.

Go to your local pro shop.

Tell them your price range and what it is you're looking for in a bow.

They'll show you which bows they have available in that range/with those specifications.

Shoot every bow they offer you.

Choose the one that fits you best/you like best.

The other two guys are right about going to the bowshop and shooting a bunch.

To answer your question most people who have the Fred Bear Element love it. My boss has one and he really likes it.

Save up until you get about 800 buy yourself a BowtechAllegiance fully loaded and forget about it. Mow yards, shovel snow, carry groceries, what ever it takes. You won't be sorry.
