coyote bow hunt

After the late bow season is over here in indiana I plan on trying to take a coyote with a bow. Does anyone have any calling and set up tips they would like to share. Coyote season lasts up into march here so it will pass the time until turkeys are back in.

They are a tough animal to hunt with a bow. If you do call one within bow range it will be at maximum alertness.

Good luck though.

Indiana, I am planning on trying the same thing. However, I will be hunting with a partner with a shotgun in hopes that if I can't get a shot he will. If I get one that close I would hate for it to get away.

The last time in my deer stand just sitting I had 4 of them buggers walk on a trail 10 yards from my stand. I shot one of the four after he scared some deer off and made me mad but let the other three go trying not to scare anything else off.

I could just sit in my stand and hunt coyotes and have a good chance of them walking by.
