Another combine story...this time a BEAR
I got this in an email.
Harvesting corn, an Iowa farmer's combine drops into a 300 pound black bear's den/ hole. Pictures. I missed this on the news Who needs to go to Canada to hunt bear! This is near Sioux Center , IA. Troy got a bear with the combine. He was combining our corn over at Measners field and fell into a big hole. He thought it was a badger hole until a big black paw came out. Pretty soon a head appeared. They knew for sure it was no badger. He wasn't very happy either. He was 300 pounds. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

RE: Another combine story...this time a BEAR
This is incorrect. This was an incident in Wisconsin, there were two incidents that both happend the same day in Wi, one no more than 25-30 minutes from my farm. I have the pictures and storiesfrom our local paper to back this up...

Mo, not Iowa, but Wisconson...we had a lengthy one on this not to long ago. Resend the email with correct information back...lol ;) edit: had to make that red and bold in case too many don't read all the threads..... |

RE: Another combine story...this time a BEAR
I have it on good authority that that happened just down the road from me!
My neighbor's daughter heard it while riding the short bus from school where a janitor's cousin happened to be at the post office that day when his step dad's mechanic came in and told him he had just driven by that very combine. And this came straight from my uncle via email! Ah hell, anybody got an adderall?;) |
