slick trick damage

This is a picture of the damage a slick trick does on entrance. This is the first tyime shooting the tricks and they work awesome. Buck went 40 yards and died. huge blood trail. Best head I've ever used.

heres a pic of the buck. Killed him here on cape cod, Mass.the last day of bow season. He weighed 165 dressed which is a good deer for the area.

Great hole.

Are you using the newer German blades or the older style?

If the new German- how well do they look after the pass through?
are they reusable?

Looks just like the hole I had! I shot two deer this year with the new blades, the second one broke ribs on entry and exit, and I plan to use it again...very soon hopefully! They are very tough blades.

Congrats, usually just notice the rack, but that buck has a really nice face.

Ya gotta love the Slick Tricks! I had a huge hole on my Doe I shot last month, great blood trail and broke her opposite shoulder. She only went 35 yards! I could see the entire blood trail from my tree stand!

I shot two deer and an elk with the same head. I only sharpened the blades. They are a great head, but I did have to sharpen the blades from the factory. This was the first run blades. I think Gary has them sorted out now. He had a lot of problems with them in the beginning. I think I was his guinea pig ;) I have shot 4 mule deer bucks, 4 elk and several white tails with them. They kill like crazy and leave the best blood trail I have ever had to follow. Flinch

Where do you get the Slick tricks?

I looked at Gander Mtn and they didn't carry them. I looked in Bass Pro and Cabellas Master catalogs ,not there.

Have any of you guys had any problems with them? Do they shoot exactly like your field points?

BowHuntingFool 01-05-2007 06:04 PM

RE: slick trick damage

I've never had a problem, they fly true to my field points and do serious damage! Here is a pic of a Doe I shot, this is the opposite shoulder the was broke and the tip just broke thru the other side. This was a 35 yard shot, she went 30 yards and piled up!

Nice! I was going to go with Montecs in 07, but I may have to rethink this

This is a doe that I shot this year.

This is on a big pig, her fat seals up the wound but you can see the hole was pretty good size.

Slick tricks are awsome heads. I used the 1 1/8 mags this year for the first time and I will be using them next year. They were the new blades and flew with my field points...

No problem in the last 2 years w/ them and fly EXACTLY like fps.
Blood trails you can see at dusk with no problem...really.
