Yes

From what I hear, Roger Fredstrom from Lincoln shot this monster right outside of Omaha in Louisville. One of the biggest deer ever taken on the east end of the state.

BOY, There never any dumb question, just dumb statements, PA requires orange in several seasons when bows are legal weapons.... Perhaps the buck was killed with a bow in such a required season in KY....ever think of that?

Wow!!! Thats an awesome buck,, a dream buck. But am I the only one getting tires of seeing deer in the back of trucks.. It seems like a lot of pics on here the last couple weeks are in the backs of trucks. If I took a deer like that, Id hire a photographer to take quality pics of it!

Sliverflicker 12-07-2006 10:42 PM

RE: Nebrask Buck Double Drop Tine

Magnificent Buck, I also dream of one just like it!, And your right Angus74 a total injustice to have its finalpicture taken in the back of a truck, I wrote a short story about 25 years ago on this same subject!!!! Place animal in natural environment, wipe off excess blood, stick toung in mouth, pose legs if possable, if already field dressed try to hide cut, and so on. Not only does it show the animal some respect, but a buck of that magnatude would bring some big bucks for your pocket if done right. I would much rather see a picture of Hunter and his fresh harvest done with some class, than a buck that has been mounted, hanging on a fince post on the front of a magazine. and a buck in a pick up is out of the question!!!

Incrediblebuck. I grew up right near there, right outside Omaha in the town next to there. Things have changed since the early 60s. Good to see quality deer being taken there. Someday I'll have to go back there and check out the old stomping grounds.

That is a awesome buck. Nebraska has been producing some really good ones. As for Boy making the list I am glad too say it wasn't me. I think wearing orange in a heavily hunted area is a good idea no matter what season it is.

That looks like the buck onall those stickers on the rear windows of trucks everywhere.
